Apple will not use the classic Apple logo on future iPads!

Following the launch of Apple’s new iPad Pro models, French news site Numerama interviewed three senior Apple employees. While the interview did not reveal much new information, it did mention a possible and important change to future iPads.

Currently, the Apple logo on the back of iPads is vertical on the back of the device. However, when users use their devices with a keyboard, they usually hold them horizontally, in which case the logo appears sideways. For the new iPad Pro and iPad Air, Apple has also placed the front camera on the long side for landscape use. This allows the camera to be in the top center when the device is in landscape.

Apple product designer Molly Anderson said that a horizontal Apple logo could be used on future iPads. “I think that could change, we’re thinking about it, iPad has been used in portrait mode for a long time, but we’re increasingly using it in landscape mode,” Anderson said.

Apple took the first step on the software side with iPadOS 14.5. Starting with this update, the Apple logo, which appears when the device is turned on when iPad is in landscape mode, is now displayed in landscape. Given that Apple is open to making this change on the hardware side, it is likely that we will see this innovation in future iPads.

Apple can outperform its competitors even without ChatGPT

Apple may not need ChatGPT correlation with the new AI features coming with iOS 18. Here are the details!

It seems that Apple aims to improve the user experience with this change. Considering that horizontal use is becoming increasingly common, this innovation may be a logical step.
